Oracle DBA

We're looking for an experienced Oracle DBA who is not afraid to join a global digital consulting company focused on building scalable software solutions and products from the ground up.

This is 3-months contract in Dusseldorf, Germany. English speakers are very welcomed as well. The project is for a large telecom operator based in Dusseldorf.

 It is possible to extend the contract for long-term cooperation.

You're a great match if:

• 10 years of experience in Oracle Database administration of OLTP and warehouse databases including RAC Installation, Databases Creation, Backup & Recovery, Monitoring, and performance tuning in Linux, Aix HP UNIX Solaris environments.
• Installation of 12c (12.1.0.2) Real application Clusters with Multitenant architecture using ASM.
•  Addition/Deletion of Nodes in 11g & 12c Real Application Clusters.
•  Applying Latest Patch set updates every quarter as per release.
•  Increase ASM Disk groups by adding disks which are stamped using UDEV Method.
• Creation of ASM cluster file system for Golden gate setup.
• Implementation of Oracle Enterprise manager 13c along with lifecycle hierarchy for business lobs with monitoring alerts and incidents
• Patching of OEM13c using OMSPATCHER and Management Agents (Agent Side Monitoring and Discovery).
• Cloning of Database using Rman, Cloning of pluggable databases from one container to another &Schema Refresh.
• Refresh of Database schemas to support Development lifecycles.
•  Performance tuning of queries using SQL Tuning advisory and creating necessary Indexes.
• Upgradation of Oracle database from 9i to 10g and 11g and 12C.
•  Troubleshooting performance Issues using sql tuning advisory.
•  Installation of Latest Trace file analyzer for collecting logs related to clusterware and oswatcher.
• Logging service requests with oracle and troubleshooting to fix issues and provide root cause
• analysis.
• Working knowledge and know how to monitor Stop and start Oracle Golden gate.
• Oracle 11G certified and looking forward to 12c certification.
• Open to learn new technologies like Exadata , Oracle cloud and Amazon Web Services.
