DevOps/Cloud Engineer

ROLE OVERVIEW: The DevOps / Cloud Engineer will be working with multiple Scrum teams, and will be responsible for the smooth deployments of our European Garage Management System (GMS) and B2B platforms focusing on ensuring that the whole cycle from local development to production rollouts is continuously improved. The DevOps / Cloud Engineer will work with the Cloud Architect and Development Team Leads to find an optimal balance between new technology and stability. The DevOps / Cloud Engineer will be responsible for taking ownership of the full development cycle and will be hands on to action any production issues and show an active approach, detecting possible problems before they occur by monitoring the infrastructure and code.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

⊲ Managing and improving existing infrastructure

⊲ Creating infrastructure scripts for new service deployments

⊲ Continuously improving existing infrastructure scripts and adapting to new technologies

⊲ Monitoring of existing deployments, both infrastructure and application performance

⊲ Infrastructure debugging (DNS, firewall, security policies, VPN, etc.)

⊲ CI/CD pipeline monitoring and improvements
